Ah, good old days

I love to re-read old books that I used to read when I was a teenager. I got this book, "Green Angel" for my 15th birthday and I loved that book just because of the cool jackets on this book. I wish there is a picture of the back cover but Yahoo and Google sucks for that. The front and back cover of the same girl is different. The front one is a image of her being a pretty, innocent girl and the back one is another image of her being a sad girl with a lot of ivy leaves all over her. Tripping huh? It'd be tripper only if Yahoo and Google have that images.

Back to the point! "Green Angel" written by Alice Hoffman and it's based on a young 15th years old girl who is very pretty, quiet, and a lover for garden and lives with her family in a small town. Until, her family leaves the small town to the big city to sell things while she stays home and somehow, something hits the big city where her entire family dies. Green becomes lost. blind by fire, and ruins her hair that forces her to cut it. She is deeply hurt and she decides to change her appearance and everything to destroy the past that hurts her really badly. She tattoos almost all of her body with the ivies with the thorns to show how much she suffers as the story progress, she becomes stronger and she notices her tattoo turns into red roses. It shows her that in the end, she will be alright and stronger.
