Mystery novels of the day!

"In The Woods" & "The Likeness" written by Tana French

Both of the novels are in the mystery party and I chose it because it keeps me up on my toes. Okay, the first book, "In The Woods" is based on a story about the detective, Adam Ryan's past when he got lost in the woods with his two best friends who goes missing and nobody could find a clue to solve this case, not even Adam Ryan since he doesn't remember a thing until he becomes older, somehow, the fate brings him back to his old case by having a new case that might be linked to his old case.

"The Likeness"

Six months later after the case with Adam Ryan (from the first book, In The Woods), Detective Cassie Maddox gets a urgent call and she has to come to see a weird crime scene. She finds a dead girl who looks like her and her world breaks down quickly. Maddox must become an undercover for that dead girl to find the real killer.

I love that jacket for the second book! :-)
